Soft Snickerdoodles
1 Cup Butter
1 1/2 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 C flour
1 tsp soda
2 t cream of tarter
1/4 t salt
Sugar Coating for Cookies:
3T Sugar
3T Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together Butter and Sugar, add eggs and vanilla mix well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
Cover and chill the dough, and a cookie sheet for 15 minutes.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts, and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Place unbaked cookies on the chilled ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately

I always heard it was the scent of vanilla that drove men mad. On the off chance that it's true, I've been known to dab a bit of vanilla behind my ears when I'm baking.
Oh..I could always use some extra romance in my life for sure!!
And some extra snickerdoodles as well...drool! I actually, just made some not too long ago, they were delightful!
