Okay, I must admit I LOVE the white stuff (snow that is). I Love being stuck at home with my family and I love watching my kids play in the snow!
Granted we don't get stuck at home too often. I don't know if I would enjoy an entire season of it. But snow really is a wonderful thing.
And now for BED HEADS eating Snow Ice Cream for Breakfast...
I tried 2 recipes one with Eagle Brand (Paula Deen's Recipe) one made by mom's recipe. Mom's was the best but Paula Deen's recipe was okay.
Mom’s Snow Ice Cream
Mix:
2 C milk or half and half
½ - 1 C sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
Stir until well blended and sugar starts to dissolve.
Fill a mixing bowl with snow pour mixture over snow and stir, add more snow for desired consistency.
Fancy That Ice Cream made from snow! Doesn't get much better than that.

classic! as far as i'm concerned, this is the only reason snowfall is an acceptable occurrence. so good. :)

THat is fantastic- I have never heard of doing such a thing!! It is perfect today as our school just closed because of snow!! Thanks for sharing such a fun idea!
